The Automation Trainer GLH QC Kit now supports 24, 96, 384, and 1536-well plate formats with flat bottom, U-bottom, and V-bottom. The GLH QC Kit is an improved single-dye photometric system for volume verification of liquid dispensers. The GLH QC Kit overcomes the key limitations of a standard single-dye system by reducing the sensitivity to variability in diluent delivery, matching a dual-dye system’s error limits while minimizing test steps. Absorbance plate reader drift is accounted for by use of the Universal Validation Reference Plate and reference curves are auto-generated. Reference and test solutions are manufactured in an FDA-registered medical manufacturing facility, ensuring fully characterized and traceable dyes. The Automation Trainer’s Liquid Handling Bootcamp has been resurrected and multiple workshops will be hosted in 2024 in San Diego, the Bay Area, and possibly Boston. Last year, five Bootcamps were hosted between May-December 2023 in San Diego and the Bay Area. The intensive workshop was active before the pandemic, and the root of the workshop was back when it was active at SLAS since the founding of the organization as ALA (Association for Laboratory Automation) and the original course for the current course Liquid Handling Essentials. Liquid Handling Essentials focuses on driving users to dual dye whereas the Liquid Handling Bootcamp maintains its promise to be unbiased and neutral as to the volume verification method and focuses on user-driven solutions related to laboratory automation and liquid handling, teaching users how to manage, implement, and test liquid handlers. Automation Trainer is an organization with deep roots in the laboratory automation space. An original supporter and content provider to SLAS events (formerly known as the “Association for Laboratory Automation” or “ALA”). Automation Trainer focuses its passion on the education and development of good liquid handling practices. From its grass roots education methods, in the form of ALH Bootcamps, Automation Trainer has identified opportunities to improve the operation of diagnostic laboratories.

With the Automation Trainer QC Kit product line and the advent of COVID, users demanded standardized consumables so Automation Trainer began manufacturing and supplying reliable labware and disposable tips for user demand backed with performance data.

Automation Trainer created the “Automation Trainer Green Coffee” or “ATGC” brand and is planning to launch and distribute the product in the second half of 2024. Automation Trainer through its senior managers’ personal experiences with the life and death of family members they came across the miracles around prayer and the administering of raw green coffee. They witnessed its healing and mental health properties in patients, therefore deciding to launch an effort to understand the benefits of the raw green coffee to help the sick.
